もとに苦しみを受け、十字架につけられ、死にて葬られ、陰府にくだ

り三日目に死人の内よりよみがえり、天に上り、全能の父なる神の右

に座したまえり。かしこよりきたりて生ける者と死にたる者とを審きた

まわん。我は聖霊を信ず。聖なる公同の教会、聖徒の交わり、罪の赦し、

The Apostles’ Creed: I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker

of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who

was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered

under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended

into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty.  From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.  I believe in the

Holy Ghost, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the

forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

Amen.

The Offering & Offertory:  Ima sasaguru sonaemono o, Shu yo kiyomete, uketamae.  Amen. (These offerings and gifts, which we give

unto Thee now, O Lord, purify and receive them we pray.  Amen.)

The Lord’s Prayer:  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be
